Bosnia Migrant Fires Relief
The Lipa Emergency Camp in the City of Bihac in Northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina was built in response to the influx of migrant families entering the region. Unfortunately, the camp never received proper water or electricity making it a dangerous residence.
A fire broke out in late December 2020 causing over 1,000 migrants to seek shelter on the main streets or makeshift forest camps nearby. No causalities or injuries have been reported till the time of this posting as these migrants battle the falling temperatures.
These migrants are between 14 and 30 years of age and are oringially from Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, India, Iraq, Morocco, Pakistan, Tunisia and other nations.
