A total of 115 Afghan lives have been claimed and 130 wounded as search and rescue operations continue.

Emergency Relief Services Provided by HHRD Afghanistan

Our team distributed cooked meals and bottled water to 200 families. They also assisted families in removing mud and other debris from their homes. As people begin this cleanup process, and will soon be able to cook their own meals, HHRD will provided dry food ration to a minimum of 900 affected families. This also includes kitchen utensils for families to ensure healthy and proper meals.

Clean drinking water in water trucks were also provided to 200 affected families. The local water source was damaged and became contaminated.  While the area waits for the government to rehabilitate it, HHRD’s Afghanistan team brought in clean water to bottle and distribute to families in need.
