Emergency Appeal: Camp Fires Devastate Makeshift Homes in Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh A devastating fire broke out at block-H of Rohingya camp no-1 located at Lombashiaghona in Cox’s Bazar Bangladesh on May 12, 2020 resulting in around 100 makeshift houses being gutted and a total of 600 makeshift homes being destroyed. Screams and shouts resonated throughout the area as an already struggling Rohingya refugee community sought safety. HHRD is working with vetted partner NGOs in the area to provide emergency relief to those affected.
