In Pakistan, 89, 875 pieces of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and medical assistance was provided through purchasing items locally and utilizing In Kind Gifts sent to the region at local hospitals and quarantine centers serving over 400,000 people. HHRD has dedicated one mobile health unit, and one ambulance to tackle COVID-19 efforts.
Items distributed include: PPEs, N-95 Masks, Surgical Face Masks, Gloves, Eye Protection Goggles, Basic Masks, Healthcare Staff Gowns, Patient Gowns, Soaps, Disinfecting Wipes, Hospital Bed Sheets, Disposable Garbage Bags, Medical Drapes, and Disinfectant Boxes.
Two HHRD medical clinics at the Rohingya Camps in Bangladesh required patients to maintain social distance and served over 4,000 patients with various sicknesses since the pandemic was announced on March 11, 2020.
